Holy Cross is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Part-time Middle School Science Teacher:

Holy Cross Lutheran School is seeking a middle school science teacher for the 2022-23 school year. This position requires a teaching license.

The teacher in this position will be responsible for providing science instruction to students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades in alignment with Indiana Science standards. Curriculum within each of these grade levels cover the major science disciplines with sixth grade having a primary focus on Earth science, seventh grade on life-science, and eighth grade on physical science concepts.

The ideal teacher has both a strong knowledge of science content as well as current best practices to meet diverse students needs. They will be able to design and facilitate engaging lessons utilizing formative assessment and guide instructions, and provide ongoing student support and create a positive classroom environment.

The position requires 3 days per week, totaling 24 hrs.

Front Desk Help:

We are looking for individuals who are loving, kind and patient to answer the phones, greet parents, and help with releasing our after care students. We have two shift options: M/W/F from 2:00-6:00 or T/Th from 2:00-6:00. 

Part-time After School Care:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or over. After Care workers engage with children in grades 3-8. Aftercare is provided from 1:00-6:00 pm every day the school is in session. Students may play indoor and outdoors. Experience with this age level children is desirable.

We are currently looking for applicants who are independent, reliable and patient to work with our youngest ages Monday/Thursday/Friday from 3:30-5:00.

Part-time Before School Care:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or over. After Care workers engage with children in grades 3-8. Aftercare is provided from 1:00-6:00 pm every day the school is in session. Students may play indoor and outdoors. Experience with this age level children is desirable.

We are currently looking for applicants who are independent, reliable and patient to work Monday-Friday from 7:15 a.m.-8:30 a.m. or 7:30-8:30 a.m. He or she can work 2, 3 or all 5 days.
