In-Person Worship

Sunday Mornings

We are happy to be back together worshipping in-person!

Our current Sunday morning services are at:

  • 8:15 (Traditional in the Worship Center)
  • 9:00 (Modern in the Gym)
  • 10:00 (Traditional in the Worship Center)
  • 10:45 (Modern in the Gym)

Out of love and care for our neighbor, we are prioritizing your health safety. We have implemented extra sanitization processes throughout our entire campus. Everyone who enters our building will be required to follow current health and safety guidelines outlined by the Marion County Health Department.

For those who do not feel safe returning to in-person worship, we offer both services online on our Online Worship page or Facebook Page.

Safety Procedures and Protocols

RESERVATIONS

We are no longer requiring advance reservations for our in-person Sunday morning services.

MASKS & FACIAL COVERINGS

Per Marion County Guidelines, those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear a mask while inside the building. We ask you be considerate of everyone’s choice.

CAMPUS CLOSED

The Holy Cross Campus remains closed except to Holy Cross Lutheran Church & School staff, students and those worshipping on Sunday mornings.

SELF-SCREENING

Please do the right thing and stay home if you are not feeling well.

Find a list of our Covid-19 Screening questions here. (If you answer yes to any of these questions, please stay home and plan to join us for worship online!)

SANITIZER STATIONS

Hand washing is encouraged and hand sanitization stations are available around campus.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING

Holy Cross Kids time is offered during the sermon at our 9:00 and 10:00 services.

We also have a volunteer-staffed nursery for children age 6 weeks to 3 years old offered during all in-person services.

SEATING

Attendees are asked to space themselves 3-feet apart in the Sanctuary or Gym. (Family units may sit together. Sitting with those outside of your family unit is up to your discretion.)

CLEANING

Our campus is undergoing extra sanitization procedures. Pews and chairs are sprayed after every use. Restrooms are open and undergoing regular cleaning.

WHERE TO ENTER

Attendees should use Door 2 (Circle Drive entrance) to enter and exit the building for the 8:15 and 10:00 services. Those attending the 9:00 and 10:45 services should use Door 4 (main entrance).

After service is over, we ask that you visit with one another outside the building and continue to take safety precautions to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
