A morning of development for families desgined to stengthen all parents, grandparents and caretakers in our community.

FamJam is a Parenting Workshop held at Holy Cross to help encourage and equip parents.

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding, yet challenging jobs in the world, especially in today’s society.

How many of us have asked ourselves, “Am I trying to live up to unrealistic expectations? How to I respond to my strong-willed child? Am I putting enough effort in my marriage?” When these questions arise, we often don’t know where to look. It’s rare that we take a step back and evaluate how our home is run. FamJam is here to help with that!

No More Perfect Parents

Jill Savage
Founder of Hearts at Home, Christian Speaker, Author/Co-Author of 12 books

More about this workshop

There is simply no such thing as a perfection on this side of heaven. There are no such
things as perfect kids, perfect homes, perfect bodies, perfect marriages, or even
perfect meals.

With refreshing honesty, Jill Savage exposes some of her own shortcomings with the
goal of helping parents everywhere find contentment in the midst of this real, but
sometimes messy life.

This message will help you…
· Change your unrealistic expectations to realistic expectations in order to better
manage everyday challenges.
· Give grace and love to your family even in difficult life circumstances.
· Increase your confidence when you resist the urge to compare your family’s
insides to other family’s outsides.
· Discover the beauty of grace when you stop judging yourself and stop judging
others.
· Find freedom from disappointment when you embrace your real family, your real
challenges, and your real, but imperfect, life.
