Sadenss turns to Celebration

Love Wins

Thursday, April 9 | 6:30 p.m.

Since the time of Moses and the Exodus from Egypt, God’s people have celebrated Passover. The celebrated it with their families in their homes. It was a night to remember what God had done, and to rekindle their hope for the Messiah.

Jesus was celebrating Passover with his disciples the night before he was crucified and demonstrated how the purpose was actually to point to Him! On that night he instituted the Lord’s Supper and we look forward to our return to regular worship together after this Pandemic has passed when we will be able to join and celebrate the oneness and forgiveness of the Lord’s Supper together again.

Friday, April 10 | 6:30 p.m.

We have been doing the Red Letter Challenge throughout this year’s Lenten Season. We have been reading Jesus’ words – the “Red Letters” and being challenged to put them into practice. On Good Friday we will be pondering together the 7 Words Jesus spoke from the cross as we prayerfully and worshipfully think about Jesus suffering and death and the meaning of those words for us today.
