December is a holy month when we are desperately trying to escape the hurly-burly and find time to be with the family, but we are so busy until after Christmas. That is the great irony of December. We need to focus on His presence in our lives. Remember we love because He first loved us, concentrate on that.

My recent activities for November included the Music and Movement class at Holy Cross and Broad Ripple American Legion’s 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier National Salute. My handlers and I also gave a presentation about the Comfort Dog ministry at Zion Lutheran Church in New Palestine.

And I hope you caught my FOX59 interview! I got a ninety second television presence. (Here is a link in case you missed the story on some of the great work being done by comfort dogs with children.)
I now have a regular presence at Methodist Hospital Emergency Room, too! I am not ill or anything like that, my job is to comfort the doctors and nurses.

I want to end by saying thank you to everybody who presented themselves at the Holy Cross Volunteer Fair. That was great fun, and I enjoyed visiting with you!

Have a Merry Christmas,

Naomi
