We are excited to announce that Matt Reed will be facilitating our adult Sunday morning Bible studies during education hour from 9:30-10:30 AM. This week’s discussion will focus on the second chapter of the book “The Gospel-Centered Life” by Robert Thune. The discussion that will take place under Tent 2, which is in the Athletic Field on the eastside of the school (near Door 5). If you don’t have the book, you can order it online here. Please bring a mask and a lawn chair. For more information, contact Brandon Grelle at bgrelle@hclc.info.
Parents have a group just for them, too! We’re working through this book called the Gospel-Centered Parent. on Sunday mornings in person in Tent 1 (bring a mask & lawn chair!) and on Wednesday evenings via Zoom. Each lesson focuses on parenting through the lens of God’s grace. With chapter titles like “Discipline by Faith, Not Frustration” and “Parenting Through Prayer,” you can expect to hear Biblical truths speak into real, everyday situations so you can live out principles of faith, repentance, and faithfulness in your calling as a Christian parent. Each lesson is self-contained, featuring clear teaching from Scripture, and requires no extra work outside of the group setting, BUT you will need the book in front of you, so please purchase it here, and please register here ahead of time.
