I can’t say enough about what God did this year during Awestruck 2019. The tireless efforts of many to allow God to utilize his people to proclaim his truth through song, service, and scripture!

There was indeed many reasons for chaos to take place. There was a brand new field of adult leaders during project, a tornado warning during festival with weather, and an earlier start. But God allows his people to embrace a peace that surpasses all understanding and an unspeakable joy.

Though Awestruck is just an experience, this year’s allowed me to have a deeper understanding of his desire to constantly pierce away our darkness so that our joy may be complete–so that others who may doubt God will be able to see the glow of Christ in us in the darkest of places. We are no longer slaves to fear, we are Children of God.

I can’t begin to thank the hundreds of people God used in this year’s experience, but I saw Christ glow through those brothers and sisters I met for the first time and those I have been blessed to know for quite a while.

“Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.”-Luke 11:36
